Western New York Women’s March 2026

May 16 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

The 2026 Women’s March for Buffalo/WNY will feature local women speaking about Rights and Justice Grassroots Actions. Jill the Turtle Mama Clause, Tuscarora, will open with a Gnonyoh from the Haudenosaunee tradition, and Vicki Ross will offer a Land and Enslaved People’s acknowledgement, as well as remembering the horrific 5/14 Massacre and current illegal heinous treatment of immigrants.

She’ll be followed by Holly Park, Rainbow Collective of WNY; Faustenia Morrow, of the Monarch of Infinite Possibilities, addressing Environmental Issues in the community. Crisis Services will have a representative speaking on sexual violence against women. Mimi with WNY Bridge Brigade will also speak, as will Donna Robinson of NYS Jails Justice Network.

We’ll march silently down Court Street to Lafayette Square, where vocalist Lynntresa Atkinson and the Phenomenal Ladies of Rhythm will perform. Singing Resistance will lead us back to Niagara Square in song, where the musical artist songstress Fragrance of Yah will perform. Fragrance of Yah Stanfield and her daughter survived the May 14 Massacre. She will close us out in song!
