From the cover — “A Prisoner’s Humanity” is a collection of 71 poems that describe the inhumane ways that prisoners are mistreated within current day jails and prison facilities. This collection consists of 71 poems in honor of the year 1971, when prisoners within Attica Prison fought to affirm their humanity after having endured inhumane treatment. Everyone is welcome.
