Gaza Fast: 40 Days of Solidarity and Action
From May 22 to July 1, 2025, over 590 participants nationwide are engaging in a 40-day fast to demand:

The resumption of humanitarian aid to Gaza under UN authority.

An immediate halt to U.S. military support for Israel.
Organized by Veterans For Peace and supported by Friends of Sabeel North America (FOSNA), the fast offers two participation options:

Centralized Fast in NYC: Participants consume only 250 calories daily, reflecting the limited caloric intake of Gazans under blockade. Note: This option has reached capacity.

Dispersed Fast: Individuals fast from their local contexts, joining a collective call for justice.
This initiative responds to urgent humanitarian concerns, including UN warnings of imminent infant deaths in Gaza.
Open to all allies and advocates for Gaza, regardless of veteran status.
