ROCHESTER, NY “Fighting for All Workers” Labor Day Parade

September 1 @ 10:30 am - 1:30 pm EDT
“Fighting for All Workers”
LABOR DAY PARADE!

We invite you to march with us to thank, celebrate and be a part of a bigger than usual contingent this year to show our solidarity with farmworkers in a year that’s been a contentious one for immigrants in our country, especially immigrant farmworkers and their families.
If you’ve never marched before, please consider joining us…. newcomers especially welcome!  Feel free to invite others!  We want to be a strong presence and voice to  uphold their dignity and humanity with our show of solidarity and appreciation for the people hired by Americans to feed Americans!
We will be joining other Unions and activists nationwide who will be holding rallies/parades challenging and opposing current oppressive policies that are affecting all workers and their families, including immigrants!

We invite you to wear a red or white top and a red/white bandana.

The bandana is for honoring farmworkers who wear them to protect themselves from dust, pesticides, smoke, and to wipe the sweat from their brow.  Bring a sign!
