Each year, Veterans for Peace chapters across the nation meet in major cities to celebrate and remember the original Armistice Day as was done at the end of World War I, when the world came together in realization that war is so horrible we must end it now.  Fighting ceased in the “war to end all wars” on the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.  Join the Buffalo Chapter at the Buffalo Naval Park (in front of the large anchor installation) at 10:30AM.
