“Being a Good Neighbor Now” with Compassion Not Cruelty

April 18 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT

Please register here!

Saturday, April 18th, 11am-1pm at St. Joseph University Parish (3269 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14214)

In Mr. Rogers’ wonderful children’s show it was always a good day in the neighborhood and if trouble did appear, you could always look for official helpers. Tragically, this is no longer true. Today, our federal government causes chaos, cruelty, and the abuse and even killing of both migrants and U.S. citizens. Minneapolis is just the latest example.

Being a Good Neighbor Now will prepare us to resist cruelty and preserve democracy in our time. We will remember Mr. Rogers, reconsider Jesus’ Parable of the Good Samaritan, and reflect with three panelists who will speak on the needs of our immigrant neighbors; creating a network of real helpers; and understanding how we must act according to our faith.

Please attend and bring along some friends and family! We need to build community!
