Resist Militarism!/Peaceful Conflict Resolution
*Help stop the U.S. sale of $110 Billion arms to Saudi Arabia!*

Tomorrow, the Senate will vote to stop an arms deal to Saudi Arabia. We need help to block this arms deal approved by this administration, because Saudi Arabia is using these arms against civilians in Yemen, and these civilians are starving & sick.

Please call 202-224-3121 and be connected with both of our Senators. Please call both: Sen. Gillibrand to thank for her support of this measure; and Sen Schumer to urge Him to support it:

Ask them to co-sponsor SJR 42, which would stop this arms sale today & subject it to a full vote on the Senate floor.

You can also send messages on their websites (necessary for Schumer, who doesn’t have a voicemail!)

Click here to message Schumer: https://www.schumer.senate.gov/contact/email-chuck

Click here to message Gillibrand: https://www.gillibrand.senate.gov/contact/

This arms deal is the largest arms deal in U.S. history, and it’s being
offered to a country that’s been indiscriminately bombing Yemen with U.S.
support for over two years, killing thousands of civilians in the process.
Thankfully, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is planning to introduce a bill anytime
now to block a key component of the arms deal; the portion containing
munitions being used against civilians in Yemen. Thanks to the Arms Export
Control Act, Paul can actually force a vote in the Senate, making this a
crucial time for your Senators to hear from you. You can call Sen. Schumer
(716-846-4111) and Sen. Gillibrand (716-854-9725), and/or write to your
representatives at the following address:

Please check out this petition from Roots Action calling for a ban of weaponized drones. Our government is setting up killer drone bases all over the country and all over the world. The 107th Attack Squadron at Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station is slated to begin assassinations from there by the end of the year, possibly the end of the summer. It is past time to grow the opposition to these horrors.
