49th Annual Dinner Reminder
You’re invited to the WNY Peace Center’s 49th Annual Dinner on Friday, Nov. 11, (doors open 5:30 pm) at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center! Please buy your tickets (on this page on a computer, see below 😉
We will be honoring Agnes William, Seneca, with the Licence for Peacemaking Award (named in honor of June Licence), for her work with Indigenous Women’s Initiatives. Jim Anderson, President of PeaceAction New York State, Vice President of Citizen Action, will receive the ALTimate Activist Award (named in honor of Wayne Alt). And Heron Simmonds will introduce the Cariol Horne Whistleblowers’ Fund!
Special guest speaker Aly Wane will discuss social justice issues as well as share Post-election perspectives on ”Where do we go from here?”.
