The Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) invites you to a special CELEBRATION of 40 YEARS of PEACEMAKING on Sunday, December 12 at 2 PM. This will be a hybrid event; in person at Christ Congregation, 50 Walnut Lane, Princeton, NJ, OR virtually via Zoom (click your choice at the bottom of this page).
Hear about highlights of CFPA’s four decades of accomplishments, and comments from a range of previous and current leaders in CFPA’s peacemaking team. For those attending in person, the event will end with a celebratory toast.

This online event — which will take place the same week as International Human Rights Day — will grapple with the impact of the ongoing Korean War on human rights and how peace can help advance human rights in the context of US-North Korea relations.
Sr. Tomás Ojea Quintana, UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in North Korea, will provide introductory remarks. Women Cross DMZ Executive Director Christine Ahn will facilitate the panel discussion with Elizabeth Beavers, a national security and human rights attorney and advocate, and Su-mi Jeon, a South Korean human rights lawyer. The webinar will include an opportunity for audience Q&A.
