Justice Roadmap launch
The Justice Roadmap is an annually updated platform of key legislation to shrink the size, scope, scale, and harm of the criminal legal and immigration systems. Since September, we have been collectively drafting the 2022 Justice Roadmap and are thrilled to be able to share it with you. You can read the full 2022 Justice Roadmap here and attached. The Roadmap includes legislation to:
- Choose Community Safety over Police Power
- End the Criminalization of Mental Illness, People Who Use Drugs, and Workers
- Decarcerate Jails and Prisons and End Perpetual Punishment
- Protect the Dignity and Opportunity of Incarcerated New Yorkers
- End Wealth Extraction & Invest in Communities
