The Peaceful Conflict Resolution Program (PCRP) has a 16-year history of offering realistic, peaceful options that are pro-active. Hands-on exercises reveal the benefits of cooperation over competition, active listening and communication skills, creative problem solving, kindness and working toward solutions where everyone’s needs are met.
In addition to offering weekly programming at various sites, PCRP serves as a resource to community groups, businesses, organizations, churches, schools and parent groups. We offer speakers and team-building workshops, as well as family-oriented programming and classroom instruction. Our school-based program consists of weekly, one-hour sessions called Peace Circles, plus teacher training, mentoring and school-wide events.
In the program’s 16th year, PCRP continues in our commitment to building global peace by addressing the need for peace in our own community. PCRP is an important part of the WNY Peace Center’s 40-year legacy of violence prevention and reduction.
