Volunteer

Dear Peacemakers,

The WNY Peace Center is seeking volunteers for a range of short and long term activities and needs. If you able to do any of the below please contact Charley at charley(at)wnypeace.org, or call the office at 716/332-3904.

1. Volunteer 5 to 10 hours a week at our new office, 1272 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo:

• Seeking a volunteer for 5 to 10 hours a week to assist with office administration
• This person will perform data entry and help maintain our books and records
• Assist with filing and maintaining records
• Help answer the phones, draft/send correspondence and assist with member communications

2. Volunteers to help chronicle and preserve the history of the WNY Peace Center:

• Since we are selling the building and moving to a much smaller office, we need to consolidate our records and archives
• We currently have over 30 boxes of historical documents: files, videos, posters, etc.
• We need volunteers to help us sort through these boxes and create new, clean files
• We need volunteers who can scan documents, so we can store things electronically
• We need volunteers who can assist in chronicling the above, to help create a written history
• We need a chair to oversee and assist in coordinating the above
