Committees, chaired by members of the Peace Center Board, are a way for members to have their say in the how the Peace Center operates.

Finance & Fundraising Committee:
Responsible for helping to plan fundraising events, including the annual dinner, as well as brainstorming new sources of funding, and keeping an eye on the current state of the Peace Center's finances.

Coordinating Board Search Committee:
This committee is inactive most of the year, but is activated annually to search for new Board members.

Personnel Committee:
Oversees personnel matters and reports to the Board. This committee is open to Board members only.
Chair:

Futures Committee (aka The Garbage Committee) This committee is responsible for discussing intractable issues that commonly arise during Coordinating Board meetings. (e.g., where do we want to be in 3 years?). It meets an hour before the Coordinating Board meeting and reports back on any progress. It's pseudonym arose because the discussion usually gives rise to other issues, hence the fertile nature of the friendly discussions. All Peace Center members (and our friends) are welcome to attend.
