2009 Annual Meeting Minutes

1. Budget
a. The 2009 annual budget was reviewed.
b. The 2010 projected budget was presented and voted on. There was no opposition, the budget passed unanimously.

2. Fundraising in 2010
a. Carlanda Wilson spoke about our new fundraising campaign. The next committee meeting for those interested in joining will be announced shortly.

3. 2009 Review
a. See 2009 report for details on the year in review including the building sale, events, actions, and programs.

4. 2010 Priorities
a. Upcoming events and campaigns were discussed as seen in the 2009 annual report.

5. Membership Campaign
a. Charles Bowman announced the new "each one reach one" campaign in which each existing member identifies one person for membership and donates a membership in their name. This new potential memberwill then receive mailings for one year in hopes that they will become a new member.
b. Eric Gallion presented on the need for changing our membrship structure and the continuing conversation in the membership committee about this.

6. Bylaw Changes & Votes
a. Revised membership Definition- see in 2009 annual report. Passed unanimously.
b. Increased board size- also in 2009 annual report. Passed unaniomusly.

7. 2010 Board Slate & Vote
a. The 2010 board slate found in the 2009 Annual report passed unanimously.
